CPN14XH9 14,000 BTU Cooling / 11,000 BTU Heat Portable Air Conditioner A portable air conditioner is ideal for cooling or warming up a small room or office. This dual-hose model's Cool, Heat, Dehumidify, and Fan modes, along with multiple speeds, help keep you comfortable all year round. Multi-positional air discharge at the top of the unit allows you to adjust the direction of the air flow into the room for maximum comfort. 4-in-1 Comfort A Quick Mount Window Kit is included for exhausting the unit through any horizontal or vertical opening window, and fully-directional casters provide mobility. Maintenance is minimal with a slide-out washable mesh filter and Auto Evaporation technology that makes manual draining unnecessary. Auto Evaporation The Auto Evaporation feature provides uninterrupted cooling by eliminating the need to manually empty a water collection pan or bucket. Instead, condensation is continually exhausted through the window in the form of water vapor by way of the exhaust hose. How Does It Work? 1. Warm, humid air is drawn from the room into the portable air conditioner through the air intake hose. 2. Humidity is pulled from the air and drops as water from the coils into the water collection area in the base of the air conditioner. 3. A turbine fan picks up the collected water and sprays it onto the hot condenser coil where it evaporates into water vapor. 4. The water vapor, along with the heat removed from the room is blown out of the discharge hose and passes out of the room through the included window kit. 5. Cooled air is then circulated throughout the room. Note: Illustrated diagram shows a single-hose model. Easy Installation with the Quick Mount Window Kit To work properly, portable air conditioners must be vented. The included window exhaust kit makes it easy to vent your portable air conditioner through standard horizontal or vertical-opening windows. The kit includes a window panel and adapter to fit to the dimensions of your window, along with hose connectors and two hoses. Convenient Control Features 24 Hour On/Off Timer The timer function is an energy saving feature that allows you to easily program the air conditioner to turn on or off at preferred times. Full-Function Remote Control The full-function remote mirrors the unit's control panel, with buttons for power, temperature, fan speed, and mode selection.
